Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the PCU Cardiovascular (GT8) unit. This full-time night shift (36 hours per week) offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

You will care for post-surgical cardiac patients, coordinate with the team, and support patients and families through recovery. Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing and an active RN license; BLS and ACLS are required, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license; BLS and ACLS required.
• Associate degree required, BSN preferred.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and interpret diagnostic data and implement interventions based on nursing diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care and evaluate progress.
• Promote infection prevention, medication safety, and adherence to standards.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and provide thorough hand-off.
