Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4 South PCU. This full-time night-shift role focuses on caring for cardiac and complex medical patients on a 36-bed unit with a 4 South PCU team.

You will assess, plan, administer meds, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Florida RN license and BLS/ACLS are required; 6 months RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree in Nursing and active RN licensure in Florida or multistate.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor safety.
• Educate patients/families on conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical teams to coordinate care.
• Document findings and communicate with the care team.
