Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in the Pisgah Forest area seeks an experienced manager to oversee the Cardiology department's operations, staff, and safety programs. You will work with department leadership to meet goals, ensure quality transport services, and maintain documentation and regulatory readiness.

You will coordinate budgets, education, and quality initiatives, supervise staff, and partner with external agencies to align with CAMTS and NC EMS standards while promoting safe, patient‑centered

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Emergency Services/Management, Nursing, or related field (or equivalent).
• NC EMT-Paramedic license, NC Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner, or NC Registered Nurse.
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
• NC Driver's License.
• Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) required within one year of hire.
• NC Office of EMS Level 1 or Level 2 Instructor Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department operations and staff to meet goals and objectives.
• Lead budget development and monitoring, and prepare regular financial reports.
• Coordinate education and quality initiatives and maintain CAMTS/EMS compliance.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and support strategic initiatives.
• Ensure policies, safety, and regulatory requirements are met across the department.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, and staff evaluations.
