UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA, is hiring Full-Time Surgical Technologists for our Cardiovascular Operating Room. Join a high‑caliber team supporting 17 operating suites, including robotics and complex cardiovascular procedures. Prior Surgical Tech experience is highly preferred.

Positions offer rotating 10- to 12-hour shifts to sustain 24/7 cardiovascular coverage. Sign-on bonuses vary by experience and commitment level, with education and certification requirements outlined in our program.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal surgical technician program.
• 1 year of prior Surgical Tech experience preferred.
• CST certification within six months of hire is required/expected.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and arrange the sterile field for procedures.
• Pass instruments, sponges, and sutures to surgeons.
• Maintain sterile supplies and assist in OR turnover.
• Verify equipment placement and functionality.
• Transport patients to recovery when needed.
