Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a part-time registered nurse to join the Cardiovascular Thoracic Operating Room team. You will perform scrub and circulating duties for complex adult cardiac and vascular procedures, including CABG, valve repair or replacement, and robotic-assisted surgeries.

The role requires an Associate degree in Nursing, an active Maryland or Compact RN license, and BLS CPR certification, with 1+ year of OR experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• 1+ year of OR experience required.
• Applicants with an Associate’s degree may apply if enrolled in BSN/MSN within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide scrub and circulating RN duties in the OR for cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Assist with CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection repair, heart/lung transplantation, mechanical circulatory devices, and robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Care for high-acuity patients in a state-of-the-art cardiovascular OR.
