Qualifications

• Must have current and valid RN license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience OR active participant in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong accountability, teamwork, ongoing education, and patient-focused care are required.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Care for a specific patient population as part of the interdisciplinary team to achieve desired outcomes.
• Direct and oversee care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
