Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV is seeking a Staff RN-Cardiovascular to provide perioperative care in the Main OR and Cardiovascular OR. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and OR staff to ensure patient safety, accurate nursing processes and efficient flow.

Requirements include a minimum of one year perioperative and one year cardiovascular OR experience, English communication, current Nevada RN license, and BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year perioperative experience.
• One year cardiovascular OR experience required.
• Must communicate in English.
• Current Nevada RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect perioperative patient care in Main OR and Cardiovascular OR.
• Coordinate with surgeon and anesthesiologist and supervise OR staff.
• Maintain standards of nursing practice and ensure patient safety.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
