Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Staff RN-Cardiovascular to deliver perioperative patient care in the Main OR and Cardiovascular OR. You will coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia teams, supervise OR staff, and uphold professional nursing standards across all shifts.

Requirements include at least one year perioperative experience, CVOR experience, English proficiency, and a Nevada RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on the job training in perioperative care.
• One year of Cardiovascular OR experience is required.
• Must be able to communicate in English (Speak, Write).
• Current and valid Nevada RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting in both the Main OR and Cardiovascular OR.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist and supervise OR staff.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and unit meetings.
