Job summary

ABIOMED Inc. seeks an Associate Clinical Consultant to educate clinical staff and drive adoption of Impella therapies. You will perform demos, trainings, and data collection while collaborating with the sales team to expand usage in cardiovascular accounts.

The role requires clinical experience in ICU/CVICU settings, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% to support accounts and implants.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct RN/NP/PA or Registered Tech patient support experience in ICU/CVICU/Cath Lab/ Cardiovascular OR.
• 2+ years of commercial sales experience related to cardiovascular products/technologies.
• Ability to advance the sales process with customers and work in a team.
• Willingness to travel 50% within the territory and comply with medical device regulations.

Responsibilities

• Educate and interact with medical staff; provide clinical demos and ongoing training for accounts.
• Collect data, complete outcome reviews with customers, and communicate activities with the team.
• Build knowledge of Impella products and their applications for effective adoption.
• Attend implants and advise physicians on appropriate use and applications.
• Lead physician meetings and host dinner programs to drive engagement.
