Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Clinical Consultant or Clinical Consultant to support clients and patients in the New Haven, CT area. You will demonstrate the value of Impella products to physicians and hospital staff, advise Interventional Cardiologists and Surgeons on patient selection, and participate in training and implants.

You will acquire product knowledge, deliver demonstrations, and collaborate with the Commercial team to drive adoption.

Qualifications

• 2+ years direct RN/NP/PA or Reg Tech patient support in ICU/CVICU/Cath Lab or CV OR.
• 2+ years commercial sales in cardiovascular space.
• Ability to advance sales process with customers.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Availability to take call for emergent patient care.
• Experience delivering demonstrations and trainings.
• Ability to travel 50% within territory.
• Compliance with medical device laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Improve patient outcomes through education and medical staff interaction with clinical demos and ongoing training.
• Collect clinically relevant data, complete outcome reviews with customers, and communicate activities with team and sales counterparts.
• Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of products/therapies and their applications.
• Attend implants and advise physicians on appropriate use and applications; support Impella usage.
• Set up 1:1 physician meetings and host staff dinners with strong attendance.
• Collaborate with sales on awareness programs within the franchise.
