Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate/Clinical Consultant to support clients and patients in the New Haven, CT area within MedTech Sales. This role emphasizes educating clinical staff, collecting outcomes data, and deep product knowledge of cardiovascular therapies.

The position requires 2+ years of clinical support in cardiovascular settings and 2+ years of commercial sales experience, with up to 50% travel. RN license preferred; Impella experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct RN/NP/PA or Reg Tech patient support in an ICU, CVICU, Cath Lab or Cardiovascular OR experience.
• 2+ years of commercial sales experience related to products and technologies utilized in the cardiovascular space.
• Ability to advance sales process with customers and travel 50% within territory.

Responsibilities

• Improve patient outcomes through education and medical staff interaction, including clinical demos and ongoing training for new and existing accounts.
• Collect clinically relevant data, complete outcome reviews with customers and communicate activities with other team members and sales counterparts.
• Acquire and demonstrate a working knowledge of our products/therapies and develop an extensive understanding of all their applications.
• Attend implants and consult physicians and medical staff on appropriate use and applications.
• Utilizes Integrity Selling to change the standard of care and drive usage of Impella with physicians.
• Set up 1:1 physician meetings/conversations and host physician and staff dinner programs with strong attendance and content.
