Job summary

Novartis is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to advance clinical practice in the Greater Boston area and surrounding MA regions. This field-based, remote role requires deep therapeutic expertise, strategic territory planning, and collaboration with HCPs and medical experts to drive medical strategy.

The MSL will engage in data discussions, clinical trial activities, and education on disease states while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in science or healthcare is required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge, pharmacotherapy, and familiarity with FDA regulations.
• Willingness to travel 60-70% and reside within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Establish and build professional relationships with HCPs and thought leaders aligned with medical strategy.
• Engage with customers on data discussions, clinical trials, and disease-state education.
• Identify territory opportunities and plan Medical Engagements and Key Accounts.
• Provide clinical trial support and collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapies and ensure compliance with policies.
