Mayo Clinic is hiring a Care Team Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Surgery/LVAD Outpatient Practice in Minnesota. The RN will handle direct patient care, education, and transitions of care, working within the Mayo Nursing Care Model.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a nursing program per ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Must currently work in direct patient care.
• LVAD/Heart failure/CV surgery experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Current RN license; BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Surgery/LVAD Outpatient Practice.
• Perform pre-operative preparation and patient/family education.
• Coordinate care and transitions; collaborate with providers and care team.
• Demonstrate leadership, mentoring and participate in committees or projects.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level and resources.
