Job summary

This role requires RN licensure, 1 year of RN experience, and strong communication. Training and leadership opportunities are available within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Model.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with RN licensure.
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing within five years if applicable.
• Experience in direct patient care with CV surgery or LVAD preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and direct patient care with family education.
• Coordinate care across the care team and transitions.
• Mentor staff and participate in quality improvement.
• Document care and use data for trend analysis.
