Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• BLS certification valid for 90 days post start date; ability to obtain state licensure as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for LVAD and CV surgery patients and transitions of care.
• Provide direct patient care and family education; mentor team members.
• Communicate with providers and participate in quality improvement efforts.
