Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an RN for the Cardiovascular Surgery/LVAD Outpatient Practice. The role includes face-to-face and remote patient care, with direct nursing duties, patient education, and transitions of care.

You will collaborate with clinicians and Care Team members to maintain high-quality outcomes. New graduates are welcome to apply through the Nurse Residency Program; TN sponsorship is available, pending licensure.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Must be currently working in direct patient care.
• Population-specific LVAD/Heart failure/CV surgery experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork in a clinical setting.
• Ability to use data for trend analysis and decision making.

Aufgaben

• Provide nursing care including pre-operative preparation and direct patient care.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate transitions of care.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level and resources.
• Collaborate with providers and Care Team members across settings.
• Lead within the Mayo Nursing Care Model and participate in quality improvement efforts.
