Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist for a full-time, first shift. The role supports cath, angio, and IR procedures with a team of skilled professionals.

Responsibilities include assisting in cardiac and vascular procedures, performing patient assessments, and acting as a first assistant during catheterizations, with expected RCIS and ACLS/BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a health sciences program (cardiovascular tech, ultrasound, radiologic tech, respiratory therapy or nursing) or licensed EMT/paramedic.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ACLS/BLS within 90 days of hire.
• RCIS preferred.
• 1 year Cardiac Technician experience preferred.
• Medication administration and EP/Cath experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac and vascular procedures under physician direction.
• Perform baseline patient assessments and monitor response during cardiac catheterization.
• Provide patient care in the cath lab as requested by the physician.
• Act as a first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization.
