Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist for a full-time, day shift. You will assist in cardiac and vascular procedures in the catheterization laboratory under physician direction and may act as a first assistant during catheterization.

The role requires a health sciences credential (diploma/associate/bachelor) or similar licensure; RCIS is preferred, and BLS/ACLS must be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• RCIS preferred
• BLS/ACLS required within 90 days of hire
• 1 year of Cardiac Technician experience preferred
• EP and Cardiac Cath experience preferred
• Sterile technique and vascular procedures experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac and vascular procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Act as a first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization.
• Provide patient care and baseline assessments in the Cath Lab.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during interventional procedures
