Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 2 (IR Technologist) for a full-time day shift, with 4–10 hour or 5–8 hour schedules and an on-call requirement. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible. Inova is a national leader in safety, quality and patient experience.

Responsible for assisting physicians in cath lab procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and delivering safe, patient-centered care with the team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing or cardiovascular technology program.
• Active Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support on start date.
• Eligible for Virginia licensure as RN or have relevant interventional radiology credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in cath lab procedures; prepare sterile field and equipment.
• Administer medications including moderate sedation under physician direction.
• Provide patient-centered care, monitor during procedures, and ensure safety.
