Qualifications

• ACLS certification preferred; employee has one year to obtain if first-time endeavor.
• ARRT certification RT(R)(CV/CI/VI) and licensure as Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist by Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
• RCIS (CIC) certification required or must be obtained within 24 months of employment.
• Maintenance of 12 contact hours of education every year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain interventional labs and equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular interventions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes during procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
