Richmond University Medical Center in New York, NY is seeking a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist (CVRT) to provide high‑quality imaging during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and the cardiovascular team to ensure safe, efficient care.

The role requires ARRT (R), advanced CI/VI certification, and strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and interventional imaging.

Competenze

• Graduate radiologic technology program completion required.
• Active ARRT (R) certification and CI/VI preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certifications required; state licensure as applicable.
• Minimum 1 year CV/interventional imaging experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiovascular procedures, including fluoroscopy and angiography.
• Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, and EP studies.
• Position and monitor patients to ensure safety and image quality.
• Administer contrast media as directed and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.
• Document procedures, patient records, and imaging logs accurately.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality assurance checks.
• Collaborate with the cardiovascular team for coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency procedures as required.
• Support infection control, patient privacy, and hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families on procedure preparation and post-procedure care.
