Riverside Regional Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to support cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, neuro radiology, and OR hybrid angiography services in Newport News, VA. The role involves rotating between specialties to meet patient care needs and applying ALARA standards.

The candidate should have graduation from Radiologic Technology or related field, ARRT/CCI credentials, CPR/BLS, and ACLS within 1.5 years.

Formación

Graduate program in Radiologic Technology or related field.
ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist or CCI Registered Cardiovascular Technologist Upon Hire.
CPR/BLS certification upon hire; ACLS within 1-1/2 years.
Experience in interventional/neuro interventional radiology, cardiac cath lab, or related areas preferred.
Demonstrates ALARA principles in daily work.

Responsabilidades

Assist with cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, neuro radiology procedures and OR hybrid angiography.
Rotate between specialties to meet operational and patient care demands.
Assess patient needs and respond to emergencies; communicate with team.
Coordinate with physicians to meet specialized patient requirements; SBAR when applicable.
Support training of team members and students as needed.
