Job summary

Pride Global is seeking a Travel RN for CVICU in Madison, WI. This 13-week assignment includes nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), every-other weekend, and some holidays. You will be responsible for care of cardiothoracic surgery patients and use of Next Stage CRRT/CVVH, with Epic charting as a must.

Mandatory telemetry exam required prior to start. Pay package includes $70.13/hr, W2 at $32/hr, and stipends; comprehensive benefits offered by Pride Global and its affiliates.

Qualifications

• Active WI or Compact RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years CVICU acute care experience in last 3 years.
• Experience with cardiothoracic surgery patients.
• Experience with Next Stage CRRT/CVVH machine.
• Epic charting experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred.

Job description

Position: Travel RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks (91 days)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Holidays: Some holidays required

Call Requirement: None

Required Qualifications

• Active WI RN License or Compact RN License
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years recent acute care CVICU experience within the last 3 years
• Experience with Cardiothoracic Surgery patients
• Experience with Next Stage CRRT/CVVH machine
• Epic charting experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required

Preferred Experience

• Cardiothoracic Surgery ICU
• Acuity Adaptable Unit experience
• Heart/Lung Transplant patients
• Advanced cardiac devices and post-operative cardiac care

Special Equipment

• Next Stage CRRT
• IABP
• HM3 LVAD
• ECMO
• Zoll Thermoguard

Testing Requirement

Mandatory Telemetry Exam before start

• Must identify:
• Ventricular Tachycardia
• Asystole
• No incorrect answers on 3rd-degree heart block questions
• Minimum passing score: 80%
• Maximum 3 attempts allowed

PAY PACKAGE:

Hourly Pay: $70.13/hr

Breakdown

W2 - $32/hr

Stipends: $1372
