Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Imaging Coordinator for the Cardiovascular Imaging Center (CVIC) at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin.

The role encompasses front- and back-office duties, prioritization, and collaboration with the health care team to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient diagnostic studies. The successful candidate will process patients, handle calls and scheduling, and review orders, insurance and authorizations while supporting safe, clean, and efficient

Qualifications

• One year of healthcare admin experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook; Meditech highly preferred.
• High School Graduate/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Process patients upon arrival to the Imaging Center.
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule procedures/exams.
• Review future schedules to validate physician orders, authorization status, insurance verification status, payment indications, H&Ps as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
