Lutheran Hospital of Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular ICU. This full-time night shift (.9 FTE) covers 5p–5a and involves care for post-cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery patients across ICU and progressive units.

The RN will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborate with physicians and staff, and uphold safety and infection control standards. Requires Indiana RN license and BCLS; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
• RN license valid in Indiana (or compact state)
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred per unit guidelines

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in line with nursing process and protocols.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and discharge plans.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in unit operations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for care planning and outcomes.
