Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Coronary Intensive Care/Cardiac ICU (CIC). This part-time, 0.6 FTE night position supports a 24-bed CIC unit, providing advanced cardiac and critical care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, administering medications, and collaborating with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes. Requires RN licensure and BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies.
• Assesses patients, documents findings, and reports changes to care team.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and nurses to develop care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Documents care thoroughly in the medical record and maintains infection control.
