Job summary

The Dell Medical School, in conjunction with Ascension Texas, seeks Advanced Practice Nurses or Physician Assistants to join the Institute for Cardiovascular Health, delivering world-class adult cardiovascular and thoracic surgical care with a multidisciplinary team.

The APP will split clinical time between the telemetry floor and the clinic, providing patient-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with duties including assessments, treatment, documentation, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited training program and board certified in the respective specialty.
• APP/PA or NP with board certification and state licensure.
• Ability to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Performs health assessments and direct patient care.
• Provides treatment with prescriptive authority or referrals as needed.
• Documents care delivery per specialty standards and policy.
