Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac/CCU area to perform stress tests, monitor patients during procedures, and administer medications during emergencies and sedation.

Requires an Iowa RN license, BLS/ACLS certification, and 1–2 years of critical care or cardiac stepdown experience. Full-time days with comprehensive Day 1 benefits and potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with a minimum of an Associate Degree.
• Registered Nurse holding a current license in the state of Iowa.
• Must successfully complete annual cardiac rhythm assessment test.
• One to two years critical care or cardiac stepdown unit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress tests and patient monitoring during procedures.
• Administer medications in emergency situations and moderate sedation during procedures.
• Handle scheduling, filing, and billing procedures.
