Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support cardiology and procedural services. This role covers stress testing, patient monitoring during procedures, and medication administration for emergencies and moderate sedation during bronchoscopy.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Nursing, an active Iowa RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications, with 1–2 years of critical care or cardiac stepdown experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with an Associate Degree.
• Registered Nurse with an active Iowa license.
• Must pass annual cardiac rhythm assessment and maintain BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress tests (stress, nuclear, pharmacologic) and monitor patients during procedures.
• Administer medications for emergencies and moderate sedation during bronchoscopy.
• Handle office duties including scheduling, filing, and billing.
