Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to perform stress testing, monitor patients during procedures, and administer medications for emergency situations and moderate sedation during bronchoscopy.

You will also handle scheduling, filing, and billing tasks. A nursing degree with Iowa licensure and BLS/ACLS are required, with 1–2 years in CCU or cardiac stepdown preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Iowa, associate degree required.
• Must pass annual cardiac rhythm assessment test.
• Within 1 year, validated in nuclear and non-nuclear stress monitoring and EKG lab duties.
• IV-line insertion training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress tests, including nuclear and pharmacologic tests.
• Monitor patients during procedures and administer medications for emergency situations and moderate sedation during bronchoscopy.
• Handle office tasks: scheduling, filing, and billing procedures.
