Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a part-time registered nurse to perform stress tests, monitor during procedures, and administer medications in emergencies. You will also handle scheduling, filing, and billing duties for the department.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, Iowa RN license, and annual cardiac rhythm assessment. Experience in critical care or cardiac stepdown is preferred, with IV-line insertion training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with an Associate Degree.
• Registered Nurse licensed in Iowa.
• Must complete annual cardiac rhythm assessment test.
• Within 1 year, validated in monitoring nuclear and non-nuclear stress tests.
• Experience in critical care or cardiac stepdown preferred; IV-line insertion training.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress tests and monitor during procedures.
• Administer medications in emergencies and during moderate sedation.
• Handle scheduling, filing, and billing duties for the department.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate documentation.
• Complete required certifications and annual skill validations.
