Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Cardiovascular Services Clinic in Bedford, Texas. This full-time daytime role includes support across clinics with travel as needed, ensuring high-quality patient care.

The CMA will take vitals, perform EKGs, and document in EPIC, while coordinating tests and maintaining clean exam rooms. Requires CMA certification, BCLS, and strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• CMA certification required.
• 1 year CMA experience preferred.
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred or upon hire.
• EPIC experience encouraged; ability to perform EKGs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients using CMA processes.
• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, resp, height, weight, meds).
• Perform EKGs and routine tests as directed.
• Schedule and coordinate diagnostic testing; ensure completion.
• Document care plans and test results in EMR as directed.
• Maintain stocked, clean examination rooms and patient privacy.
