Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis is seeking a Cardiovascular (Cath Lab) Technologist to support cardiologists during catheterization procedures and operate specialized Cath Lab equipment with a focus on hemodynamic monitoring.

The role is 0.8 FTE with Day/Evening/Overnight shifts in person at the Downtown Campus. A $500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates, and bilingual Spanish is a plus for patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited school of allied health services in cardiovascular/cardiopulmonary technology and radiography.
• Registered Technologist certification by ARRT.
• RCIS certification or eligible; must obtain RCIS within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists Cardiologist with all procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
• Operates and maintains specialized Cath Lab equipment and monitors hemodynamic status.
• Maintains catheterization laboratory equipment and inventory; reports malfunctions.
• Trains staff technologists and students; supports departmental goals and patient safety.
