Job summary

Compass Surgical Partners seeks an experienced Director of Nursing for Short Pump Cardiovascular Ambulatory Surgery Center in Henrico, VA. You will oversee nursing services and clinical operations across one procedure room, ensuring safe, high-quality cardiovascular care while collaborating with the CEO and physician partners.

The DON leads the clinical team, drives regulatory compliance, and helps launch and grow the center with a culture of clinical excellence and accountability.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2+ years of nursing leadership, preferably in outpatient surgery.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage nursing and clinical teams.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and infection control.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and supply management.
• Collaborate with physicians and administration to support center goals.
• Serve as administrative leader in the Administrator’s absence.
