Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the 4200 CVICU to lead night shifts and support the nurse manager. You will supervise RN caregivers, drive OKRs, and help optimize patient care workflows while maintaining safety and quality of care.

The role focuses on in-patient rounding, staff support, and education, impacting patient experience. BSN and Ohio RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program and RN license in Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within hire or within first year.
• At least two years of recent clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide input into performance evaluations and feedback.
• Supervise RN caregivers and other nursing support personnel.
• Lead huddles and drive OKRs within the unit.
• Oversee patient admissions, assessments and nursing care plans.
• Evaluate and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Assist with policy development to improve delivery of health services.
• Serve as liaison between the manager, caregivers and other areas.
