Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient-centered care under RN supervision. You will observe, document, and communicate patient data to guide assessments and care planning, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

This full-time LPN position requires an active Arizona LPN license, BLS, and solid teamwork and communication skills. A strong option for career growth within Mayo Clinic is offered with daytime hours.

Formación

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing.
• If graduation did not occur within the last two years, one year of LPN experience in an applicable setting is required.
• Arizona - Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers.
• Current LPN license by applicable state requirements.
• Additional specialty certification/training as required by the work area.
• Positions that are not on campus may not require current BLS competency as determined by the work area.

Responsabilidades

• The licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse (RN) or other assigned supervisor and accepts delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor in meeting the needs of the patient/family.
• The LPN collects data through observation and communicates information to assist the RN and/or provider in patient assessment and care planning.
• The LPN participates as a member of the health care team and accepts delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor and provider in meeting the needs of the patient/family.
• The LPN delivers care in accordance with the patient care plan, policies and procedures of the organization, and principles of relationship-based care.
