Job summary
Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of an RN or supervisor. The LPN collects data through observation and communicates information to support assessment and care planning, and collaborates with the health care team to meet patient needs.
The role requires graduation from an approved practical nursing program, an active LPN license, BLS, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a practical nursing program with LPN licensure.
- Current state LPN license required.
- Arizona BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent certification.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of an RN or designated supervisor.
- Collect data through observation and communicate findings to assist assessment and care planning.
- Participate as a member of the healthcare team and accept delegation as needed.
- Deliver care in accordance with the patient care plan and organizational policies.
