Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver high-quality nursing care to assigned patients in our Arizona campus. The LPN works under the supervision of the RN or supervisor, collecting patient data, participating in care planning, and delivering care per the patient care plan and Mayo Clinic policies.

The role requires an LPN license, BLS certification, and strong communication and teamwork. Daytime hours, some flexibility, and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program (e.g., some states allow RN students to take the LPN board exam after completing one to two years in the RN program).
• Current LPN license by applicable state requirements.
• Arizona - Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of the RN or supervisor.
• Collect data through observation and communicate information to assist in patient assessment and care planning.
• Delivre care in accordance with the patient care plan and organizational policies.
