Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery services.
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Active Ohio medical license or compact license is required.
• Clean professional background with no malpractice issues.
• ACLS and DEA credentials are required.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular patients.
• Assisting in emergency cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries.
• Vein harvesting / retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduits.
• Managing consults and referrals from the ED, Cath Lab, and other hospital providers.
• Routine rounding, coordination of care, ordering/interpreting tests, and writing prescriptions.
• Temporary Privileges available within approximately one week for clean files.
