Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a Physician Assistant for cardiovascular surgery call coverage in Myrtle Beach, SC. The assignment includes 7–10 days per month of 12-hour day shifts and 24-hour weekend shifts with in-house call.

Qualifications

• Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred.
• Prescriptive authority required for practice.
• Board certification negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular surgery call coverage and inpatient hospital coverage.
• Act as first assist in the operating room and assist with vein harvesting using EVH.
• Offer night call with emergency surgery response when locum clinicians are present.
• Collaborate with 1 mid-level and 1 RN support staff during coverage.
