LocumTenens.com seeks a Physician Assistant for cardiovascular surgery call coverage in a Myrtle Beach, SC area hospital. The PA will provide inpatient hospital coverage with 12-hour OR shifts, including 24-hour in-house call on weekends, and collaborate with the care team.

The role involves first-assist duties in the OR and EVH vein harvesting, with on-site coverage and ongoing recruitment for a replacement during active staffing periods.

Qualifications

• Board certification status negotiable.
• Prescriptive authority required.
• On-site position in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Responsabilités

• Provide cardiovascular surgery call coverage and inpatient hospital coverage.
• Work 7–10 days per month in blocks across inpatient and OR settings.
• Perform first-assist duties in the OR and vein harvesting using the EVH system.
• Handle night call with emergency surgery response when locum clinicians are present.
• Collaborate with 1 mid-level and 1 RN support staff.
