Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital invites a Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Florida Heart and Lung Institute and its growing cardiac surgery team in Tallahassee.

The role requires surgical First Assist and EVH experience, with a 1:3 call schedule that includes rotating weekends. Join a team of 2 cardiothoracic surgeons and 1 APP to deliver comprehensive cardiac care.

Qualifications

• Must be board certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Surgical First Assist experience required
• Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH) experience is required

Responsibilities

• Support two cardiothoracic surgeons and one APP in the operating room
• Provide advanced practice care in cardiac surgery with call rotation 1:3
• Assist in surgical procedures and patient management
