Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a CardioThoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide comprehensive care in surgical settings, focusing on both collaborative and independent practice. Responsibilities include first-assist in CT surgeries, participate in managing patient care, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate must hold an accredited medical license, have at least one year of experience in a CT surgery role, and be skilled in end-vein and radial artery harvesting. This full-time position requires onsite work at TGH Main Campus in Tampa.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or APRN program.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an APP in CT surgery.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-assist support in CT surgeries.
• Participate in peri-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Engage in departmental initiatives, including pathway development.
