Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to join Florida Heart and Lung Institute and their growing cardiac surgery team.

The role includes working with a team of two cardiothoracic surgeons and one advanced practice provider, with a minimum call of 1:3 and rotating weekends as part of a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be board certified Physician Assistant.
• Surgical First Assist experience required.
• Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH) experience is required.
• Experience in advanced heart failure (LVAD, impella, ECMO, heart transplant) is a bonus.

Job Summary:

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) to join Florida Heart and Lung Institute and their growing cardiac surgery team.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be board certified Physician Assistant
• Surgical First Assist experience required
• Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH) experience is required
• Experience in advanced heart failure (LVAD, impella, ECMO, heart transplant) is a bonus
• Join 2 cardiothoracic surgeons and 1 APP
• Minimum call of 1:3; includes rotating weekends
