Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its premier Cardiothoracic Surgery practice.

You will work with an experienced team, provide right hand support to physicians in the outpatient clinic, manage intermediate care, perform consultations, schedule surgeries and handle outpatient duties; Monday through Friday, new grads welcome, light weekly call.

Qualifications

• Work with an experienced team of cardiothoracic surgeons and APPs caring for perioperative cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Provide right hand support to the physicians in the outpatient clinic
• Management of intermediate care of cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Consultations, surgery scheduling and outpatient clinical responsibilities
• Independently examines, diagnoses, orders diagnostic studies and treatment for patients in the outpatient clinic setting
• Monday through Friday
• New grads welcome
• Light practice call taken on weekly increments
