AdventHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiovascular Surgery outpatient team in Florida. You will perform preoperative assessments, postoperative follow-up, wound management, and patient education, collaborating closely with cardiovascular surgeons to optimize outcomes.

The role is 100% outpatient, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a focus on comprehensive surgical care for patients before and after cardiac procedures.

Qualificações

• Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Florida APRN or PA license (or eligibility to obtain).
• National certification as NP or PA.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and manage patients in the clinic with preoperative assessments and postoperative follow-up.
• Provide wound management, patient education, and ongoing clinical support.
• Coordinate care plans and education to support recovery and long-term cardiovascular health.
• Triage and answer patient inquiries related to surgical preparation, recovery, medications, and symptoms.
• Collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons and multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Care for patients with cardiovascular conditions including CAD, valvular disease, heart failure, hypertension, and diabetes.
