Job summary

This is a full-time cardiothoracic radiology faculty position within the MCV Physicians/VCU Health system, located in the School Of Medicine MBU, Department of Radiology at VCU Medical Center. It involves specialized cardiovascular imaging including cardiac CTA, cardiovascular MR, chest CT, HRCT and lung cancer screening, with teaching duties for medical students, residents and fellows.

The ideal candidate will be ABR-certified (or Core Component), fellowship-trained in Cardiothoracic Radiology,

Qualifications

• ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination.
• Fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Radiology with interest in teaching and research.
• Eligible for Virginia medical license; eligible for permanent employment in the USA.
• Demonstrated ability to foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Teaching medical students, residents and fellows in Radiology.
• Provide high-quality, sub-specialized imaging interpretations for assigned modalities.
• Collaborate with pulmonology, cardiology and surgery teams to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Engage in scholarly activities and contribute to professional growth.
