Job summary

MCV Physicians seeks a BC/BE Cardiologist focused on non-invasive imaging (echo, cardiac MRI, CT angiography) with teaching and potential for academic appointment. Responsibilities include education of students, residents and fellows, clinical research support, and participation in quality initiatives.

Candidates should be able to obtain Virginia medical licensure and work within a large multidisciplinary program, contributing to patient care and medical education at VCU Health Pauley Heart

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist
• Sufficient research and teaching experience to be eligible for academic appointment
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Commitment to respect, professionalism and civility with diverse faculty, staff and students

Responsibilities

• Teaching medical students, residents and fellows; participate in CME and departmental conferences
• Support clinical research protocols as needed
• Participate in quality, safety and efficiency initiatives; collaborate with multidisciplinary team
• Provide expert management of non-invasive cardiology imaging
• Submit billing and document care as required by the organization
