Qualifications

  • ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination.
  • Fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Radiology with an interest in teaching and research.
  • Eligible for Virginia medical license; eligible for permanent employment in the USA.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching – Provide training to medical students, residents and fellows in the Department of Radiology.
  • Clinical – Provide high quality, sub-specialized imaging interpretations for assigned modalities in support of referring physicians and patients.
  • Scholarly Activities – Faculty are encouraged to participate in activities related to national societies and organizations to maintain clinical excellence.
  • Service – Time and effort devoted to academic service-related activities, committee work and professional growth.
