Job summary

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse license issued by the state.
• BLS certification required within 6 weeks of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and circulates on cases independently with minimal direction.
• Prepares for surgical cases and anticipates needs of team.
• Maintains aseptic technique and safe patient environment.
• Collects data and supports nursing diagnoses.
• Communicates effectively with patients, staff and families.
• Manages room setup and turnover efficiently.
